Total Cover is India's first comprehensive warranty commitment on plywood. If a covered defect is confirmed on a plywood registered within Total Cover, within the first 10 years from the date of purchase, CenturyPly will reimburse the cost arising from that defect, including plywood, laminates or veneers, adhesives, labour, transportation, etc.

For ease of understanding, this FAQ section explains the programme in simple language. The policy and detailed Terms & Conditions available on https://www.centuryply.com/totalcoverwarranty, governs the administration of Total Cover. Please read those together with FAQ section, as both together explain the scope, process and coverage of Total Cover.

Total Cover warranty is currently available only for Architect Ply & Club Prime plywood/blockboard and does not apply to other products.

After the 10-year Total Cover period, your product continues to enjoy its applicable standard product warranty for the balance period e.g. Architect Ply continues with its Lifetime Warranty, while Club Prime Plywood/Blockboard continues with its additional 20-year product warranty, thus continuing to provide coverage for 30 years.

A standard product warranty generally covers replacement of defective plywood during the applicable warranty period. Total Cover goes a step further. In addition to the plywood, it also reimburses the costs that arise because of the covered defect, including laminates or veneers, adhesives, labour, transportation, etc. If you register for Total Cover, your applicable standard product warranty continues after the 10-year Total Cover period for the remaining warranty tenure of your product.

The following defects are covered under Total Cover, subject to technical inspection and verification by CenturyPly:

Borer or termite damage
Warping or bending
Delamination
Core gaps or batten gaps
Thickness variation
Surface undulation
Screw or nail holding issues
Wood fungus decay
Blockboard frame cracks

All the above are covered, when confirmed by CenturyPly's technical team, in accordance with the applicable regulatory standards & Programme Terms & Conditions.

If a covered defect is confirmed within the first 10 years from the date of purchase, CenturyPly reimburses the eligible restoration costs covered under the Total Cover Programme arising from that defect.
These may include:

Plywood
Laminates or veneers
Adhesives
Labour
Transportation, etc

Compensation is calculated based on the lower of:

the actual invoices submitted, or
CenturyPly's technical assessments benchmarked to currently prevailing industry standards.

Certain items, such as reusable hardware and other exclusions specified under the Programme, are not covered. Please refer to "What are not covered under Total Cover?"

Total Cover applies only to covered defects on purchase of Architect Ply or Club Prime Plywood/Blockboard which were registered under the Total Cover Warranty Programme.

It does not cover:

Damage caused by poor workmanship or installation
Fire, flood or other external causes
Misuse, abuse or neglect
Compensating reusable hardware and components
Any item or cost specifically excluded under the Terms & Conditions.

Conventional plywood warranties generally replace only the defective plywood or limit compensation to the plywood value or a multiple of it. Total Cover handles the real cost of repairs. If a covered defect is confirmed, we don't just compensate for the plywood - we also cover your laminates or veneers, adhesives, labour, transportation, etc.

To the best of CenturyPly's knowledge, this makes Total Cover - India's first comprehensive warranty commitment on plywood that extends beyond replacing the plywood itself.

The phrase reflects CenturyPly's commitment to go beyond simply replacing plywood sheets. Under Total Cover, if a covered defect in the plywood affects your furniture, we reimburse the costs associated with the furniture and not just the plywood. Reimbursement depends on the extent of the damage caused. If the entire furniture item is impacted, eligible costs for the whole furniture are reimbursed; if only a section is affected, costs for that specific part are reimbursed. The phrase is intended to communicate the scope of Total Cover. The examples given below are illustrative. The extent of reimbursement is governed by the Terms & Conditions

Example 1 (Full Furniture Impacted)
A study table made using 2 plywood sheets develops a confirmed covered defect. If the defect impacts the entire table, the applicable costs relating to the whole table are reimbursed.

Example 2 (Partial Furniture Impacted)
If a wall panelling installation uses 12 plywood sheets and only one panel develops a covered defect, with that panel having consumed 2 sheets, only the applicable costs related to the affected panel will be covered.

Anyone: You – the home/site owner, your dealer, architect, interior designer or contractor can initiate the registration. However, the warranty certificate is issued in the owner's name and only you can raise a claim.

You can register your purchase in three easy steps:

3.Upload your invoice(s) within 90 days of purchase

Following submission, details are verified & Total Cover Certificate is normally generated within 48 working hours. Download your certificate from the portal or access it from your registered WhatsApp number.

Important Tip: Double-check your personal, invoice & site details. Incorrect details may invalidate your warranty when filing a claim.

The invoice should clearly mention the product name (Architect Ply or Club Prime Plywood/ Blockboard), quantity, invoice date, dealer name and dealer contact number. Upload it in JPG, PNG or PDF format.

Yes, you can upload multiple invoices for the same site by clicking on "Add Invoice" in the registration form. Just ensure all your invoices are registered within 90 days of purchase.

If you do not have an invoice, fill your personal & site details. Next, select that you do not have the purchase invoice and enter contact details of your Contractor, Architect or Interior Designer having a relevant invoice for your site with them.

We will send them a secure link to upload the invoice on your behalf. Once verified, your certificate will be issued.

Alternatively, you can collect your invoice from the dealer & register the warranty yourself.
Important: Make sure your site address is entered correctly in the warranty form, as it must match the location where the plywood is being used.

Only a registered dealer with Centuryply can start the process for homeowner/site owner like you, but they must have the invoice with the covered products to initiate the registration. Once submitted, you will receive a pre-filled link on your phone — you can verify the site address & the pre-filled details and submit.

Alternatively, you can also share the Confirmation Code with the dealer post verifying the details, enabling them to submit on your behalf.

Your Contractor, Architect, Interior Designer should create an account under Interior Designers in the Login section on the homepage. Once registered, they can start the process of registering for you, but they must have the invoice with the covered products to initiate it. Once submitted, you will receive a pre-filled link on your phone — you can verify the site address & the pre-filled details and submit.

Alternatively, you can also share the Confirmation Code with the dealer post verifying the details, enabling them to submit on your behalf.

Invoice values and rates uploaded by the Architect, Interior Designer or Contractor remain masked and are not visible to you.

You will remain eligible for the applicable standard product warranty, however, you will not be eligible for Total Cover benefits

2. Go to 'Initiate a Complaint' and select the relevant warranties & the impacted products,
3. Upload proof of damage and
4. Submit your claim

Please Call on Toll-Free Number to report the issue. In this case, you are eligible to receive resolution as per our standard product warranty and not under Total Cover warranty

CenturyPly evaluates every claim based on technical inspection, supporting documents and the Programme Terms & Conditions.

CenturyPly's technical team aims to respond within 48 working hours and resolve most claims within seven days.

Compensation is available only once per affected area for a given issue.

Centuryply's technical team inspects the site, verifies the defect and processes the claim if it meets the Programme requirements.

We verify the warranty certificate, site details, covered products, quantities, supporting documents and the defect.

If you have a Total Cover certificate, you are automatically covered under the applicable standard warranty. For other products, use the Century Promise app - scan the QR code on the product, and access your e-warranty instantly.
