Centuryply Architect Plywood is a premium product from the House of Centuryply. A BWR based plywood which uses a 1:2 vital veneer to veneer ratio is made of imported select Dipterocarpus species. The veneers used in the core & panel have no overlaps, splits or gaps & uses a 1mm thick face veneer. Bonded with an un-extended phenol formaldehyde resin clubbed with the revolutionary GLP Technology, where in the preservative is incorporated in the Glue Line rendering protection from termites & borers from the inside of the product. At the same time the finished product is also passed through a specially designed preservative spreader where it’s treated with ACC to ensure protection from the out side. The Core & panel veneers are 1.8mm thick ensuring total permeability of the Resin along with the preservative in every layer. The product is pre-pressed to give a homogeneous spread of moisture making the product warp free. With more layer than any conventional plywood the Architect ply has a density of 825kg/m3 combined with additional lines of thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin, results in a product that has enhanced physical & mechanical properties.
