FLEXO MICA
is a hi-tech Post Forming
Laminate manufactured with
state-of-the-art infrastructure
and technology. The best of raw
materials go into making Centuryply Flexomica. The manufacturing
process is monitored by
automatic electronic systems
ensuring the highest quality of
flexible laminates. With
superior sanding and consistent
thickness, Centuryply Flexomica has
unique aesthetic appeal and is
available in a wide range of
designs.
HOW TO
USE CENTURYPLY FLEXOMICA ?
SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: Prepare
the correct profile of the edge
of the substrate. The profile
should be uniform along full
length of the substrate. It must
be smooth to a desired radius
having no sharp edges.
LAMINATE PREPARATION: Cut
the laminate to the desired
sizes, file and clean the edge
of Centuryply Flexomica to remove
chips and small cracks.
GLUING: Apply the glue
uniformly on both the contact
surfaces to maintain uniformity
an d avoid lumps. This should be
done preferably with the help of
a spray gun. Recommended
adhesives to be used are PVAC or
UF.
FORMABILITY: Heat the
area to be bent to the
recommended temperature. Bend
immediately maintaining the
contact temperature. Recommended
temperature 150o ±5o C. Bending
time 25-30 seconds.
BALANCING LAMINATE: When
the post Forming procedure gets
over, cover the uncovered
portion of the substrate to
balance the job and to avoid
warping.
