Located at Falta, 3 km from the Special Economic Zone, the Century Jetty is a joint venture with the Ministry of Commerce. Strategically situated on the river, it has the capacity to handle around 1.5 lakh tonne of cargo every year. The jetty is fully equipped to handle containerized cargo of 20 ft and 40 ft and single parcel loads of 30 metric tonnes.

Container Freight Station (CFS) at Sonai, is a new addition in the Century family. The primary purpose of a CFS is to allow the benefits of containerization to be realized on the inland transport leg of international cargo movements. CFS is an integrated backup support to the Port. It reduces the overall time and an importer/ exporter is in a position to plan their shipments within a time frame, which otherwise becomes difficult for them. This is a hassle-free service provided by the CFS. CPIL has acquired a plot of 80,000 square meters from the Kolkata Port for this purpose.Strategically located in close proximity Kolkata Dock Systems, the nearest railway head being 2km in Majerhat, the nearest highway NH 6 being around 6 km and the Central Warehousing Corporation situated only 1.5 km from it.
